Location:
S’Alqueria Blanca is a town belonging to the municipality of Santanyí. It is 56 km from Palma, 7.6 km from Santanyí and 5.5 km from the coast. Nearby are the towns of Santanyí, Cala d’Or and Portopetro. Its population is around 1.150 inhabitants.
In the past, S’Alqueria Blanca based its economy on agriculture. Nowadays, tourism is its main activity, although the locality conserves the character of yesteryear. In the centre of the village, the church is located, with the main square and some bars, restaurants and shops.
S’Alqueria Blanca is very close to the Natural Park of Mondragó with its beautiful beaches of S’Amarador and Cala Mondragó.
